ABOUT US

Who We Are

We are a dedicated Cybercrime Taskforce working in close partnership with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC Nigeria), the Cameroon Gendarmerie Cybercrime Unit, and the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications (MINPOSTEL). Our mission is simple yet powerful: to protect citizens and foreign nationals from online fraud, restore digital trust, and dismantle the networks that damage Cameroon’s reputation.

Our Mandate

Strengthen national digital trust, protect Cameroonian citizens and foreign nationals from cybercrimes, and support regional efforts in dismantling fraud rings.

Our Vision

A Cameroon and Nigeria free from economic, financial, and cybercrimes — where people can live, work, and connect online without fear.

Our Mission

  • Track and expose cybercriminals through the Scammer Watchlist & Mugshot Wall.

  • Provide victims with channels to report scams and request refund support.

  • Work hand-in-hand with local and international partners to bring fraudsters to justice.

  • Raise public awareness on how scams operate and how to stay safe online.

  • Encourage community reporting through the Whistleblower Program.

What We Do

  • Our platform offers a complete ecosystem in the fight against cybercrime:

    • 🕵️ Scammer Watchlist – Exposing confirmed fraudsters with names, photos, tactics, and locations.

    • 📤 Scam Reporting – Victims can upload proof and track the handling of their case.

    • 🚓 Taskforce Updates – Regular updates on arrests, extraditions, and success stories.

    • 💳 Refund Claim Desk – Guidance and official certificates for those seeking to recover lost funds.

    • 📢 Public Alerts & Training – Scam awareness campaigns in English, French, and Pidgin.

    • 🔔 Whistleblower Program – Anonymous tips to help break fraud networks.

Why It Matters

Online fraud has hurt not only victims abroad but also Cameroon’s digital reputation. Many innocent citizens lose trust, opportunities, and access to international services because of cybercriminal activity. By joining forces with partners and communities, we are reclaiming our country’s good name and showing the world that Cameroon stands against fraud and for digital integrity.

Why It Matters

Legal & Ethical Foundation

All activities and publications are carried out under Cameroon’s Law No. 2010/012 on Cybersecurity and Cybercrime, ensuring fairness, accuracy, and protection of privacy. We only publish scammer details after a clear threshold of evidence is reached or based on verified investigations.
